Renewal of Vows
My Ate told me yesterday that BIL and her are planning to have their renewal of vows 3 years from now. It's their 10th anniversary, by the way. They are still contemplating whether they would have it celebrated here or in Japan. If it's gonna be held here, it would be cheaper of course. The downside though is that most of my brother-in-law's relatives and friend can't come over here simply because they cannot shoulder all of the air dare tickets. Whereas, if they are going to celebrate it there, they only have to pay air fares of 15 people, plus the fact that couples who get married in Japan can make " bawi" of their wedding expenses because japanese are known to give money to those who gets married instead of giving them "in kind" gifts. They are going to shoulder our air dare tickets but we have to pay for our own hotel expenses. Gosh, I hope that the prices are not as expensive as those of a New York City hotel . Anyway, I am so excited over the wedding. :) Labels: travel and living

Here Comes 24

I was really delighted to know that my most favorite TV program, 24 has already started airing its season 7 presentation. No matter what people say about how unrealistic the scenarios in this TV show are, every hour of this program really makes my heart beat like crazy. But no, I am not going to buy any DVD copy yet. I'll just wait until it finish its airing in the US so that I can grab myself a copy with all of the episodes in just one cd. I am not gonna download the episodes either in Bit Torrent. I don't want to pre empt what is going to happen this season. I was surprised to know that Tony Almeida is still alive as he was deemed to be dead in Season 5. Buchanan and the funny-but-weird character Chloe are still there. I'm gonna fall in love with Jack Bauer for the 7th time LOL. How I wish I have one of those home theatre seating so that I can comfortably watch 24, as if I am in a movie theatre. Labels: home fixtures, tv programs

I need a printer...
Pops asked me last week if I could copy some documents necessary for our SUV’s registration renewal. Unfortunately, our good old 3-in-1 printer gave up on me about six months ago. It was a very reliable HP printer that served its purpose for the past 4 years. Since the time it broke down, I never had the chance to troubleshoot it. And I think I also lost the CD driver as well. When I bought my notebook last December, I have thought of buying a 4-in-1 printer (copier, printer, scanner, fax) but I hold it off after learning that a big electronics shopping company is going to have a close out sale soon. But dang! I never had the chance to shop in this store (and I mean online) in spite of the fact that hubby informed me that he’s gonna buy some things in one of its physical store. Oh well, a 3-in-1 printercosts less than P4k so I think I am just going to buy one locally. Labels: electronics

Banana Diet?
The moment Pops (Papa) saw me yesterday (we are spending our week end at my folks' place), the first thing he asked me was "are you taking any weight loss supplement?". I just laughed at the thought of me taking any diet pills. But really, I think taking the 'crash diet" really work on me. For the past 4 days. I have been eating only once a day. Only during lunch (office lunch) and after that, nada. But I realized that taking a crash diet is not good any either. Sure, it made my tummy visibly smaller but I just can't stand the hyperacidity (or ulcer?). Somebody suggested to have banana diet. But I am not fond of banana and earting it makes my poo a little harder (LOL) So for now, I'm eating 5 days a day (yep!), only with SMALLEST servings. :) Labels: health and living

Happy Heart's Day
Happy Heart's day Everyone! It's been a gazillion years since the last time I wrote something in this blog. But really, a lot has been happening on my personan and career life. We just moved to my apartment. I now have a nanny for Terrence and I find her really dependable. There's going to be a sale at Hypermart Pasig starting today till Sunday. Mama Luvie just gave me a P2000 gift card and I'm thinking of buying Terrence an umrboller this time. I promise to blog more about what is happening to me lately. :) But for now, I would just like to end this post with a picture I took on Terrence's 4th monthsary. :)

On Being a parent...
Surely, having a child is no joke. It takes a lot of patience and courage to do so. And no matter how people say that they are ready to be parents, I don't think that anybody could be prepared as needed, emotionally and financially. I am no superwoman. Yes, at times I find having a child really exhausting as I am the only one raising sweet pea (though I would always have my in-laws and my loving families at my side). I would feel tired after an 7-hour day work. But when I get home and Terrence greets me with his very warm smile, the tiredness just fades. I don't know. But parents like me surely knows what the feeling is. On Monday, we're finally going to move to my apartment which is just like 3 blocks away fromm the office. I have already bought formula milk and disposable diapers supply good for a month. It will be just me,Terrence and his nanny. I don't know yet how we are going to survive without hubby on ourside but I'm crossing my fingers that will get by. Labels: updates

I want doughnuts!
The title of this post really ahs nothing to do with my thoughts in this post. I am just craving for some krispy kreme. LOL I know that saying "I have been a bad blogger" sounds more of a cliche now but hey?! What can I do?! I know I am REALLY such a bad blogger. No significant updates yet. Maybe I am just psyching myself on being productive at work since a new manager is in town. I don't want him to think as if I am not doing my job properly. I am seeing a lot of promotional products in the floor right now so I am wondering if there is anything coming from "Q"? Hmmmm.. kuripot!Labels: office hush-hush
