On Close Out Sale

When Circuit City announced that it's gonna close down all its store, hubby asked me if I want to buy one of the digital camcorders that are on sale. Really, lots of items were priced dirt cheap. It was like as if they just want to clutter free their storage room so they are practically giving aways their inventories. Though tempting, we decided not to get any since both our families still have digicamcorders.

--------------------------------------- So Long Tita Cory!

I just learne about 3 hours ago that Tita Cory already died. She died of colon cancer. Prior to her death, she underwent chemotherapy that is almost the same as treatments for Mesothelioma but for the last 2 weeks, she refused to take all the treatments. Her body is already weak and she needs to rest for most of the time. I don't know her personally but she is such a great influence in the political arena. But at least, she is now in peace and perhaps happily watching us together with Ninoy.

Something Relaxing

Week end of last week was spent with quality time for the family. On Sunday, we trooped to MOA to attend the Sunday afternoon mass afterwhich, we had a sumptuous dinner at a Pinoy restaurant. Saturday though was more of a "me" time. I had free home servide facial treatment courtesy of my mother-in-law.. Ahhh.. It was really refreshing!

Next in my list is the home service shiatsu/reflexology massage :)

December Travel Plans

As mentioned in my other blog, my mother in law asked me to find online good deals not just for the upcoming travel plans in Hokkaida in December but also, to find insurance quote, more specifically house insurance quote. I am pretty excited with this travel plan as this is gonna be a vacation not just only with my in laws but my family as well. As my sister is living in Japan, she will be our tourist guide. We chose Hokkaido over Tokyo since we've already been Tokyo and I heard that Hokkaido has great ski adventure package. LOL As if I know how to ski.

It's Here!

Hubby's loot has already arrived. It didn't have any items for sale. In fact, all items are for personal use, primarily party items.

After the long, my nikon d80 is already here. I am really ecstatic with this new toy. Now I just have to decide on which photography class is the best to take. :)

A Two-day Off

I am on a two-day vacation leave today. I decided to consume the paid leave dates, otherwise, they are just going to be forfeited. Yesterday, I just bum around the house searching for some online good finds like term life insurance. By the way, I also bought a DVD drama series of my newest crush, Lee Min-Ho or more popularly known as Goo Jun Pyo of Boys Over Flowers. Today, I am gonna pay the party caterer 50% of the total cost and I will also storm Divilandia for Terrence's birthday loot items. For sure, today is going to be a busy day for me.
