More Time to Lose Weight

With the postponement of the birthday celebration, it gave me more time to lose weight. I am now dead serious in getting fit again. I'll make sure that I'll excercise and that I'll seek the help of the safest and best weight loss pill in the market. Hopefully, I will be able to be attain my ideal figure in two months. LOL

--------------------------------------- Birthday Postponed!

When the weekend weather forecast was aired, I was still not worried on how the weather is going to be for Sunday. The bureau chief said that the tropical storm won't hit the Metro but will instead hit the northern region. But lo and behold! On the eve of my sweet pea's natal day, flood was nearly neck-high. I still don't have the parcel that hubby sent me (it contains various party things as well as beauty products and a pair of footwear- but not Naot). I literally didn't bring anything on our way to the hotel as I thought that I'll just buy in the mall what ever I need. Due to the tragic tropical storm that hit the territory, we were left with no choice but to move the the birthday celebration to another day. :(

Electric Blanket?

When I stayed in Tokyo for 3 months around 2004, I was really amazed with the fact that AC units can also serve as heaters. Don't blame me for being ignorant as I am a certified tropical dweller and we don't need heater for God's sake. The condo unit that my brother and sister rented during that time has electric floor heater but I have never seen or tried using an electric blanket. Care to share where I can try one?

--------------------------------------- Dying of Colon Cancer

When our first female president died last month due to colon canceer, curiosity about colon cleanser/colonetix hit me big time. Unfortunately though, just like any other cancer, I still can't seem to find what's the cause or where one would get cancer. Getting the Big C is not just draining emotionally and physically speaking, but it will also cut your bank big time. Cancer hits everyone regarless of one's status. That is why I am very thankful that all of my family members are doing well. I praise God for that! :)

Before owning a cold and cold water dispenser, my folks' household used to have water filter. My Mom was prompted to but one when the subdivision's water provider endorsed our water facility to Maynilad. Just because we cannot find any water filter that is similar to wf2cb system, mom just decided to buy one unit in SM appliance center. But we only used it for less than 6 months as mineral water refilling station was established in our village junction. :)

I heard from one of my good friends from my former company that our HR directer has recently been fired. Allegedly, she embezzled some huge amount of money. According to some folks, this is not the first time that the directress had committed this crime. She already has reputation from her former two companies. It makes me wonder now whether my former employer is conducting pre-employment screening because if the company did, hiring that HR manager is one of the most stupid thing a corporate would do. But I care less now. I am no longer part of the company. LOL

December Vacation

I have booked a hotel beach resort in December, just in time for hubby's short vacation. It's actually a family vacation. I booked a resort somewhere in the South, the very famour Bora. :) As much as I want to experience the "A" class and the luxury of fine hotels like the Karisma, Hidden Beach and Azul Beach, I don't think that our current budget will permit us to do so. I want to visit these places as I have reading a lot of raves for these resorts. Maybe in 5 years, we will be able to experience even just one hotel. This is going to be a nice treat when we celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Im getting excited!

My son's birthday is really fast approaching. All party details are set. I have also booked the hotel room for us to stay a day before the big event. I am happy but at the same time, sad because hubby is not here with us to celebrate our child's first birthday. HayyyY.. I'll make sure though to take lots and lots of pictures for hubby to cherish!

Why I don't care...

Aside from being a technical support and a sales associate for a prominent PC maker, I also worked as a live chat support representative. I love this job simply because I don’t have to “talk” to customers in order to communicate but I just need to hit the keyboard to send messages. It was a bit tough especially getting perfect quality scores. When I was working as a live chat support agent, I had to be very careful with grammar and spelling. Now that I am no longer a chat support agent, hell do I care with spelling and grammar. LOL

Since I started working, I have been given great HMO membership cards offered by my former employers. The best one that I got was a platinum membership that included 2 dependents absolutely free. I’ve been with my new company for almost a month now but I still don’t have an HMO card. It would have been great having one at this time so that I could have dental discounts, just in time before my sweat pea’s natal day three weeks from now. But I am not really in that hurry. I’ll just have to go back again to my dentist to have oral prophylaxis.

One Techy Gal

Last Friday, I brought my DSLR and my notebook in the office to capture some pictures of my new found friends in my new company. A lot of them were really amazed with my gadgets. They are telling me that I am one techy gal. What they don't know is that while I own a top of the line notebook and SLR, I have one of the cheapest Mp3 players in the marklet. Well, let us just say that having an MP3 player is in the bottom of my "need" list so I don't splurge on it.

I just had my lunch today at my former company's building. I saw a lot of old faces. Some of them asked me if I am using any weight loss pill but the truth of the matter is, I don't! I just simply cut my carbo intake. I now eat on intervals and only eat food with minimal sugar content. I think my "sacrifice" is now paving its way. I just hope I'll get my desired weight before November kicks in.
