On Road Side Assistance
I used to be part of a northern american automobile association quality team. As part of our task, it is our responsibility to ensure that our reps provide quality customer service experience. In one of the calls we used for our calibration session, a customer asked our rep if we also offer rv repair. The CSR was probably new in the company because it seems that she didn't know the our product that well. She told the customer that "yes, we do offer that" when in fact, we don't offer service like that. As a result, the rep got a coaching ticket and she committed that she will study our product more in order to provide accurate information. Labels: automobile, business

Health Issues
These days, I can't help but be worried with the various illness and diseases that are 'sprouting'. Come to think of it, during the 18th up to the 19th century, cancer was still unknown just like mesothelioma. Could these diseases came from what we eat? drink or breathe? Is this really the price we have to pay for the innovation of our technology? I think I am getting scary of what the world wil be 50 years from now. Labels: health and living

Cancelled Trip
Last night, my in-laws were supposed to head to the fish port to attend their fish brokerage business. But thanks to their big truck, they had to cancel the trip. There was sliding clutch that needed to be fixed. They are now thinking of buying another service vehicle, a hi lux or hi-lander and together with that, they are now canvassing truck accessories that will go along with it. That way, they wi still be able to go to the fish port even without their 8 wheeler truck. Labels: automobile, business

P*kpek Shorts
Heck, I just bought two micro shorts. Yeah. It's that short that I call it micro. It only cost me P200 for the two items. I feel sexy albeit I also feel slightly uncomfortable since it's been a gazillion years since the last time I wore one. I am going to wear it this Sunday. :) Labels: fashion, shopping

On Baking
I just bought some baking items today. Too bad though that I don't have enough time to complete at least 24 cupcakes by tomorrow. Nonetheless, I wil still be baking some cupcakes for the upcoming trick or treat activity in the office this Friday. Yey! I am really excited! :) Labels: baking

Lost Investments
For sure, you already know that a lot of people from Pasig and Marikina are badly devastated by Typhoon Ondoy. While some of them lost their personal belongings, their house, their investements, others lost more than those. They lost their loved ones. That is why when a friend complained that their family lost rare silver coins, I told her that she should be grateful instead since all her family members are safe. They can still invest on silver coins if she wants to in the future. She can do online search and one of the top company that offers services on silver coins is the Monaco Rare Coins. I haven't tried the company yet but from the looks of it, the company has already built a good reputation. And that is something she can rely on when making an investment. Labels: investment

How would you react?
...if you are are already married and yet someone is still trying tow in your heart inspite of knowing that fact that you are indeed committed and you already have children? I find it funny. I didn't know that at this point, somebody is still interested in me despite of the extra pounds I gained from my pregnancy. OOoOps, don't get me wrong. I enjoy the attention but I don't have plans of having cheating my wonderful husband- just to set the record straight. Labels: what-nots

Preparing for Another Typhoon
Though from the latest satellite telecast from PAG ASA, Super Typhoon Ramil will not hit Metro Manila. Despite of that, I was surprised to see some segments of SM hypermart where instant food are getting out of stock. I guess some people are now traumatized with typhoon Ondoy. Actually a friend from my former office admitted to me that he now stocks food good for 2 weeks so anytime that they will encounter another calamity (God forbids!) they will not experience the same "scarcity" of food like what they had encounter before. So for me, I just bought 2 bundles of instant noodles, instant coffee, canned goods and a sack of rice. Let's pray that Ramil won't hit us as badly as Ondoy did. Rolex Robbery
Have you heard of what happened in Rolex Greenbelt 5 last Sunday? It gave me chills. I visit GB5 every one in a while, mostly during week ends. It’s a good thing that it is now a protocol among mall stall owners to install their own video surveillance equipment for their own security. From the video footage, I can clearly see how one robber was shot to death. It also makes me wonder now about how mall goers can be really secured while inside the mall premises considering the recent mall crimes that are happening. Maybe, it’s for us to just stay at home now. Labels: security, shopping

On Gym Equipment
I have enrolled myself in a gym only for a month and since last week of August, I haven’t hit the gym. Bicycle and treadmill are the most “abused” equipment for me. I am not really sure if the gym I go to have a dip bar. Even if they do, I don’t know how does a dip bar looks like. For now, I am enjoying my breakfast with coco-flavored oatmeal. I am also limiting my carbo and calorie intake. I hope I can survive doing this for a month, just in time when hubby gets home. Labels: fitness

The Happiest Place on Earth
I have been to Disneyland once before. That was Tokyo Disyneyland. Nope, I didn't get any disneyland packages when I visited the place about some 5 years ago. It was actually an overdue graduation gift that my sister owed me. During that time, Hong Kong Disneyland was not yet built so I only know only a handful of people who have been to Disneyland. In addition, it is more expensive to tour in Tokyo than in HongKong. You also need a visa before you can enter Japan. To date, almost half of the people I know have been to the happiest place on earth. Labels: travel and living
