On Job Search
Hubby will be staying here in the country for 6 months. I asked not to work anymore and to just take care of our kiddo but he refused saying that he cannot take the fact that I am the only one working. Fine! The master plan is to look for a job in an advertising company-something that he is really passionate about. But if he fails to find one in 2 months, he will try his luck being a technical support associate in a call center. It's a good thing that finding a job nowadays is really easy. There are lots of job search portal like New York job search so taking the first step of finding the job that best fits you is now as easy as 1-2-3. Oh well, I really hope that he finds his place in an advertising company. It's about time for him to do what he really likes. Labels: business world

Merry Christmas!
I bet all of you have been extremely busy the past two weeks with all the shopping and parties you had to attend. well, the same things go for me. I feel really exhausted. I am just so happy that our company decided not to let us work on the 24th and the 25th. That's rare when you get to work on a 24/7 customer service oriented call center business firm. Well, our company is just starting so I guess the management is trying to pamper its employees to the best it can. Speaking of a start up company, our big boss just informed me that we are now on the look for a business plan writer and that our HR department have already posted the job opening in various job search portal. So if you know anyone who specialize in business plan writing, please buzz me. Let me end this post with my warmest greetings of MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Labels: business world

The Power of Technology
I am so thankful that I was born in the age where people no longer rely on going places to places by foot just to do some errands. A great example of that is when you do banking business. These days, most of the people I know especially those people who are working in the call center environment would get payroll updates either through internet or when they check by phone. As for me, all of my bank accounts are enroll in both mobile and internet banking. Now that's what your call convenience. Labels: business world, technology, telecoms

Call Center Job?
After the holiday season, hubby is going to look for jobs where he can spend the next 7 months of his stay here in the country. He wants to look for a part-time job. He wants to take care of our little brat while still earning some money on the side. Since he is just going to have a part time job, I suggested to him to look for a call center job since undeniably, attrition rate in this industry is relatively high. Labels: career, jobs

It's The Time!
It's the time of the year where we would have great family outings, reunions etc. Hubby's family relatives from Singapore will be going home too. It's gonna be a season filled with laughter, food and memories to talk about. And for that, I think I'm gonna need fat burners now. Hahahahaha!Labels: health and beauty

New Floor Tiles
My mom is thinking of a minor house renovation to be completed before the year ends. Papa and my brother are currently canvassing for floor tiles replacement. Right now, we have floor tiles that are as white as cotton and I don't like that simply because scratches and stains are easily traceable. I like something blue, maybe light blue. I know that my taste is unconventional but don't get me wrong. When we finally build our dream home, every detail will be carefully planned. :) Labels: home improvements

Holiday Mode
While many enjoyed Cyber Monday, our family enjoyed an extended vacation as well. We didn't do anything last Monday. In fact, we just had one of the longest sleep we had in months. It was a day well spent with my two boys. Yesterday, on the other hand, we went to Star City and treated the little brat with all the fun and joyful rides. He really had fun, I can tell it with his eyes. In the next two weeks, we will go to Enchanted Kingdom with TJ's cousins. :) Labels: shopping
